HomeCraft Builders: has been serving Hot Springs, Garland County and even the State of Arkansas since 1963. With over 500 houses in the county and several successful subdivisions under our belt you can trust HomeCraft to be with you throughout the life of your home. Subdivisions like Crestmont, Hill and Dale and Acres Road still today have families that bought homes from us some forty years ago. It began in the late fifties and early sixties when a history teacher in the Jesseville school system named Wayne Foshee began drawing house plans and surveying as a sideline to teaching. Then in 1963 he began Developing Crestmont Subdivision and building a few houses. Things began to snowball from there and 1971 Mr. Foshee was asked to serve as President of the State Home Builders Association. (Much to the shock of the “Mega Builders” in the Little Rock Area). From that point on there was no turning back. So here I sit forty something years later second generation developer trying to condense all this into a brief paragraph on a page on a web site. What a Ride!
How do we do it? How do we remain small yet continue with to compete with huge “Mega Builders”. As with any other business, attention to detail, hard work, remembering who we serve all play a role in competing today. However, if I was to pick on thing that separates a HomeCraft Development from all the rest, it would have to be our unique ability to treat every customer the way we want to be treated. Whether you are a builder looking for a subdivision to build in or an individual looking for a safe place to raise your kids or a retired couple wishing to make the most of their “Golden Years” We here at HomeCraft and more specifically here at are most recent endeavor Clearwater Development, commit to treating you, and your customer if you’re a builder, the same way we would want to be treated.
Our Philosophy:
So how would I like to be treated? Let me just share with you a few of the things I think you’ll appreciate about us here at Clearwater Development.
First, my office is right on site. My sales staff has offices on site. I have a full time crew working every day maintaining the grounds and common areas. My head Manager actually lives on site. We view our organization as a service organization and you can’t serve any without on site Staff.
Second, we prize value over all else. Not just the value of your and my investment, while that is part of what I’m talking about, there’s more to it than that. Everyday, by the choices we make, we either add value or take away value from life. This is an absolute truth and it works in any area of life. From work to family to church, everything we do either adds or subtracts value. So we’re committed to adding value to our subdivision, our customers our customer’s families and our builders.
Finally, everyone has the right to be treated fairly. Whether you purchased a prime waterfront lot with a half million dollar home on it, or a wooded off lake lot in phase two with a two bedroom three bath home that just meets the minimum sq. ft. requirements, your kids have the same access to the common properties, you have the same right to rent a boat slip, you all have the same access me and my staff. We are all part of this neighborhood, this community, this family. I hope by using this fairness approach to governing we can eliminate some of the squabbles that inevitably occur from time to time among family.
Summary:
Our goal is not only to sell you a house and lot, any Real Estate Broker with access to MLS can do that. Our goal is to make sure that not only do you and your family have a house and lot but also a Home. A home in a place where you feel secure, where your kids can play outside with other kids, where you feel equal with your neighbors, where you and your kids can enjoy life. Not just life but true family life, with days spent enjoying the lake or pool or a walks in the evening. Group events at the community center or anything else that you might wish to do. After all, I’m only the beginning of all this, where it goes from here is up to you.
