Located just minutes from Hot Springs, Arkansas, you will find a unique place. Some call it a lake. Some a river. We call it Clearwater -- Where the Ouachita River becomes Lake Hamilton.
The Ouachita River begins in the Ouachita Mountains near Mena, Arkansas. It flows east into Lake Ouachita, a reservoir created by Blakely Mountain Dam. The river then flows out of the Dam, winding through the mountains for a couple of miles before it becomes Lake Hamilton. Here you will find Clearwater Development. Located just a short boat ride from the famous “Sand Bar”, here you can find up to one hundred boats tied up together in a festive manor on any given Saturday or Sunday in the summer months. On the other hand, just upriver from the property one can enjoy trout fishing and the cool waters everyone searches for on those hot summer days.
